Summer Program Audition Video Support

Preparing audition videos for summer dance intensives can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to do it alone. Our faculty at SSPA is here to guide you through the process, ensuring you present your strongest and most polished audition materials.

What We Provide:

  • One-on-one faculty guidance throughout the filming session.

  • Coaching to help you present clean, confident work.

  • Assistance with capturing barre and centre combinations, classical variations, and contemporary requirements as specified by each program.

What You Need to Bring:

  • A full list of requirements for every program you plan to audition for (including barre, centre, variations, and contemporary work).

  • Readiness to dance! Sessions are active, so come warm and fully prepared to move.

Session Details:

  • Rate: $100 per hour

  • Time Commitment: Each session requires a minimum of 1.5 hours. Sessions are booked in 2-hour time blocks to allow for sufficient filming and coaching time.

  • Availability Begins: January 5

Musical Theater dance reels.

These reels are a vital part of any MT performer’s audition portfolio, showcasing versatility, style, and storytelling through movement.

What We Provide:

  • Faculty coaching to help you select and polish choreography that best represents your abilities and casting potential.

  • Guidance on capturing a variety of styles (jazz, theater dance, tap, ballet, or contemporary), depending on your goals.

  • Professional filming environment to ensure your reel looks clean and high quality.

What You Need to Bring:

  • A list of requirements from casting calls, schools, or programs you’re applying to.

  • Prepared choreography or combinations you’d like to showcase.

  • Dance attire and shoes appropriate for the styles you are presenting.

Session Details:

  • Rate: $100 per hour

  • Time Commitment: A minimum of 1.5 hours, booked in 2-hour increments.
