Michael Lister
SCROOGE
Michael is so excited to join the Stapleton family. Michael studied theater at NYU Tisch School of the Arts.He has collaborated with Classic Stage Company (NYC), Flea Theater, and Fresh Ground Pepper. He recently joined Jenny, Katie and Bella in MMTC’s production of Cabaret. Recent film/series credits include It's Always Something and the pilot episode of BIT.

Nyah Wahle
TINY TIM (Abundance Cast)
Nyah Wahle is a cast member of the exclusive Cabaret Program of the American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.). She is excited to bring Tiny Tim to you in this fun and endearing production of A Christmas Carol. A ballet student at Stapleton for more than seven years, Nyah also enjoys hip hop and contemporary dance. She discovered her love for musical theater when she played Jojo in Seussical the Musical Jr. (YES Theater). Nyah captured the audience again a year later as the illustrious Mary Poppins in Mary Poppins, Jr. (YES Theater). She also appeared in Novato Theater Company’s production of Matilda as an anxious little boy named Nigel. Nyah is happiest when she is performing and she hopes you learn to love Tiny Tim as much as she has!

Kylie Cohen
TINY TIM (Charity Cast)
Kylie Cohen is thrilled to perform with Stapleton for the first time! Prior to her Stapleton debut, she has had the opportunity to play a variety of roles over three years with Backyard Kids Theater including the titular characters in Matilda, Annie, and The Little Mermaid, as well as Lavender in Novato Theater Company’s Matilda the Musical. Outside of theater, Kylie enjoys watching game shows and spending time with family & friends. She’s grateful to them for all of their support!

Kelly Robinett
GHOST OF CHRISTMAS PAST
Carl Robinett’s sister is so excited to be back in A Christmas Carol! Kelly’s first Christmas Carol was in 2014 when after helping Carl practice various lines for the show in 2013, she thought to herself, I’m basically in the show myself! The following year she scored a role in A Christmas Carol herself, Carl’s previous role! Two years later, she would play a role following in her sister Helen’s footsteps as well. This time, she has scored a role that neither sibling has played: Ghost of Christmas Past/Lamplighter! She wants to thank them and her fans for believing that she can play a role without her siblings doing it first!

Ariel Harrison
GHOST OF CHRISTMAS PRESENT
While originally from Marin, Ariel moved to England in 2007, and worked professionally as an actor there until the pandemic hit. After an extended break from acting, Ariel is so excited to be returning to the stage in this production of A Christmas Carol, playing with old Stapleton friends, and in the first theatre she ever performed in. Some favorite roles in her performing career have been: Annelle in Steel Magnolias (winner of the Break A Leg award for Best Ensemble), Ariel in The Tempest, Stephano in The Tempest, Curly’s Wife in Of Mice And Men and The March Hare in Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.

Megan Schoenbohm
GHOST OF CHRISTMAS FUTURE
Megan is thrilled to portray the haunting role of the Ghost of Christmas Future, as well as the Blind Old Hag, in Stapleton’s production of A Christmas Carol. Previous stage credits include Fräulein Kost in Cabaret with Marin Musical Theatre Company (where she also served as Assistant Music Director), and the title role of Mary Poppins in Mary Poppins with North Bay Theatrics. She studied dance for over 10 years in her hometown of Youngstown, Ohio, and it brings her great joy to bring that foundation to this performance. A multi-hyphenate in the music industry, Megan is a multi-instrumentalist, performer, educator, producer and singer-songwriter with four award-winning children’s albums. She is a proud member of the Recording Academy. Upcoming projects include serving as Music Director for Jagged Little Pill with Marin Musical Theatre Company and A Midsummer Night’s Dream at White Hill Middle School. She extends heartfelt gratitude to the creative team for this wonderful opportunity, and wishes everyone a magical holiday season!

Bruce Vieira
GHOST OF MARLEY
After training at the Circle In The Square in New York City Bruce performed all across the US from Lincoln Center to The Denver Center Theater. Locally Bruce was last seen as King Arthur in Spamalot and as Gomez in The Addams Family (SFBATCC winner) both at Novato Theater Company where he also performed the title role in Sweeney Todd in 2019. He was also Daddy Warbucks in Annie, Judd in Oklahoma!, and Tevye in Fiddler on the Roof all in The Mountain Play on beautiful Mount Tamalpais. Bruce is also a local director and sound designer.

Simon Eves
CRATCHIT
Simon has been involved with community theater in Marin since 2002, spending most of his time as "sound guy", but occasionally stepping on stage. This is nearly his fortieth involvement and eleventh acting role with the various incarnations of the San Anselmo Town Players and Stapleton Theatre Company, and his second time as Bob Cratchit. His son Nathaniel played Tiny Tim last time, but was deemed ineligible for the role this year, now being 22 and 6'2". Thanks to his friend Aaron for taking the sound reins for this show, and all his love and gratitude, as always, to Katie and no-longer-tiny Nathaniel for their support (and tolerance) of his crazy hobby.

Tim Ryan
MR. FEZZIWIG
Tim has performed with the Mountain Play Association, Marin Musical Theatre Company, Stapleton Theater, Choral Singers of Marin , Five Flags Theater Company, and the Barn Theater. Tim likes to sing and dance with other people, and make stuff. Tim‘s motto is kindness is free, sprinkle that shit everywhere.

John Kraft
FRED
John Kraft is a Los Angeles–born mixed media artist known for his vibrant colors and whimsical themes. A featured artist by Apple, his work has appeared in Better Homes and Gardens, Modern Painters, and the San Francisco Chronicle. His art is part of major collections including Genentech, Facebook, and Kaiser Permanente, and he’s created public works such as a mural at San Francisco’s Salesforce Transit Center and large-scale hearts for Hearts in SF. In addition to his visual art, John is also a musician and actor, performing with regional theaters across the Bay Area.

Helen Robinett
EMILY, CHARITY TRIO
Helen Robinett is thrilled to be back with Stapleton theater company after a lengthy 8 year hiatus, and even more ecstatic to be back in her dream role of charity lady. Ever since she first played the role 11 years ago, she has been biding her time and awaiting the opportunity to get back out there and hassle Scrooge, and she promises she will not let her fans down. She’d like to thank her friends and family for helping her get to this momentous stage of her life, and she hopes everyone enjoys the show! Oh, she’s also playing Emily too, but mostly a charity lady!

Kevin Allen
YOUNG SCROOGE
Kevin Allen is an actor, writer and director that got his start in theater and performative media in the Bay Area. He attended Chapman University for Screenwriting and Sound Design and years later has fought to protect public school performing arts as the director of San Rafael High School’s drama program — his alma mater. Over the last few years he has performed in NTC's Spamalot (Herbert, Not-Dead-Fred) Present Laughter (Morris), and Matilda (Escapologist), and Sonoma Arts Live's Lend Me A Tenor (Bellhop) and Young Frankenstein (Hermit), and Avalon Player's Twelfth Night (Duke). Always burning bright with passion, Kevin brings his all to any project in which he is involved.

Robert Jackson
MR. SMYTHE
Robert Jackson is excited to return to the stage after many years absence and to be back with the Stapleton Theater family in their revival of their legacy production. Thanks to the wonderful cast and crew of this Christmas Carol for invigorating and reinforcing that special sense of community and cheer that we all cherish. A Happy Christmas to All!!!

Camille Paris
GRACE (Abundance Cast)
Camille is a passionate, fun-loving and energetic 7th grader who has delighted in entertaining friends and family since her very first steps at 9 months old. Her love for singing, dancing and acting finds its full expression in musical theater at Stapleton. Camille has enjoyed diverse roles in recent years, including Veruka in Charlie & the Chocolate Factory, Chip in Beauty & the Beast, Deb in Elf Jr., and Ladybug in James & the Giant Peach. She was the bass player in a pop band her last year in elementary school, and currently sings with the Advanced Chorus at Davidson MIddle School. Camille also dances ballet and contemporary and will be performing in Stapleton’s Nutcracker in December. She is on the debate team at her school and enjoys a good argument – just ask her siblings. A “yes” day for Camille would probably involve eating spaghetti and ice-cream, babysitting her nephews, crafting and knitting, spending time with friends and family and singing in the shower.

Elya Wasserman
GRACE (Charity Cast)
Elya Wasserman (she/her) is excited for her first Stapleton production A Christmas Carol. She’s done 8 previous plays and musicals with YES and Catia and Company for the last five years. Before that, Elya took ballet classes in San Francisco for seven years. Now she’s in singing classes with Liz Whitney and school theatre at Archie Williams. Elya is passionate about the arts and thrilled to work with the Stapleton production team and community to make this musical incredible.

Truman Wilder Benham
JONATHON (Abundance Cast)
Truman Wilder Benham, originally from New York City, is thrilled to be performing in A Christmas Carol. He has previously appeared in several Stapleton productions, including Elf Jr., Oklahoma, and most recently Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Truman also performs annually in Stapleton’s Nutcracker, a tradition he has been part of for the past three years. He trains in dance at both Stapleton and BUDA Marin. When he’s not on stage, Truman enjoys dancing, acting, doing tricks on his scooter, and hanging out with friends.

Lyra Wiesen

Lyra Wiesen has adored performing since she was a tiny tot! She’s appeared in 25+ productions, including Marta in The Sound of Music (Stapleton), Olaf in Frozen Jr. (North Bay Theatrics), and Bruce Bogtrotter in Matilda (NTC). We can’t keep her off the stage! She hopes you LOVE the show!!

Tracy Harding
MRS. CRATCHIT
Tracy is thrilled to step back into the part of Mrs. Cratchit. She has performed with Stapleton Theater Company since 2009, and some favorite roles include: Little Becky Two-Shoes, Urinetown; Mrs. Teavee, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory; Alma, The Music Man; and many other roles in A Christmas Carol. When not on stage, she can be found wrangling 4th and 5th graders.

Shelley Skelton

Shelley is thrilled to be working with this wonderful group of humans and is especially happy for another chance to perform with her daughter. Teacher by day, Shelley does shows when she can. Recently Shelley could be seen as the Doctor/Sergei in MatildaThe Musical at NTC and she understudied for roles in MMTC’s production of Cabaret at NTC. She loved portraying The Cat in the Hat in Stapleton’s last production of Seussical The Musical and is happy to be back at Stapleton for more fun! Shelley loves her family very much and wants to thank them for all of their support.

I'm delighted to be at Stapleton with this year's A Christmas Carol. Found my way to this group by way of the yellow brick road, in 2011 Wizard of Oz. And a grateful nod to 2 favorite roles in Yente and Mae Peterson. I miss you ladies.
And to my dad, who said after seeing ACC 2011, "please do this forever", we're back.

Sonya Evans
MRS. SCROOGE
Sonya Evans is excited to be performing in Stapleton’s A Christmas Carol once again! In addition to previous roles in A Christmas Carol, she has also performed in Oklahoma!, The Sound of Music, and The Music Man at Stapleton, as well as Fame at San Domenico, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Love’s Labors Lost at The American Shakespeare Company. In addition to performing on stage, Sonya enjoys working on costumes off stage, coordinating and assisting with costumes for Stapleton, The Curtain Theatre, Novato Theater Company, and San Domenico Theater, after getting her start in costumes and special projects at Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts (PCPA), where her oldest child is now getting a degree in Technical Theater. While Sonya especially enjoys performing with her family members in Stapleton productions, she is grateful to continue to feel a part of the Stapleton extended family - on stage and off.

Deb Warren (Old Joe) is delighted to be working and playing with the fantastic cast and crew in “A Christmas Carol” at Stapleton! Past favorite roles include Baroness Schrader (The Sound of Music,) Mrs. Paroo (The Music Man,) Grace (Annie,) Mrs. Brill (Mary Poppins,) Kathleen (Ragtime,) and the Queen (Cinderella.) She is grateful to be a part of this collaborative group that appreciates finding the joy and magic in every moment, forming a “family created by friendship as well as by birth…” Cheers to the joy of your company!

Rose Skelton

Rose is looking forward to another production with Stapleton. She enjoyed being Thing 1 in Stapleton’s production of Seussical The Musical. Recently she played Hortensia and a Big Kid in NTC’s production of Matilda The Musical. Rose has greatly appreciated her opportunities to learn and perform in her school thanks to RVSD and the YES foundation. Other roles have included Medda Larkin in Newsies Jr., Rebel in Miley Chase The Science Ace, and most recently The Baker's Wife in Into the Woods Jr. Rose is excited for this experience and to be working with such a great cast and team!

Zara Phillips
FAN (Abundance Cast)
Zara started her theater training at the Youth Academy of Dramatic Arts in Hollywood, CA. Upon moving to the Bay Area in 2020, she has studied with various organizations including 23 Elephants, Stapleton Performing Arts Center and at her school, San Domenico. A Christmas Carol will be her fourth Stapleton theater production. She has also performed as part of the ensemble in Seussical the Musical and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory as well as Elf, in which she played the featured role of Emily Hobbs. In addition to her theater work, Zara has been in the Stapleton Nutcracker twice. Zara loves to sing and play the piano and has been studying dance since the age of 2.

Adele McDonald

Adele is excited to be part of this production of A Christmas Carol! She previously performed in Seussical and Mary Poppins for her elementary school, and danced in The Nutcracker at the Palace of Fine Arts. Adele studies ballet at Stapleton School of the Performing Arts and also enjoys playing soccer, softball, and creating visual art in her free time.

Xavier is elated to be making his Stapleton Theatre debut as Young Marley! A passionate performer, Xavier’s past credits include Beetlejuice (Beetlejuice), Frozen (Kristoff), Newsies (Theodore Roosevelt), Seussical (Wickersham), and Aladdin (Prince Abdullah) — all with North Bay Theatrics. Elizabeth Ehm
YOUNG MARLEY (Charity Cast)
Elizabeth Ehm has been performing since she was six years old, starting as a mouse in Stapleton’s Nutcracker and Shere Khan in the Jungle Book. She performed her way through eight YES Theater performances including as Squidward in Sponge Bob The Musical and as Brooke in Legally Blonde. She is excited to be performing in her second Stapleton Theater show after playing Mike Teavee in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory last year. Elizabeth is a 9th grader at Marin Academy who plays field hockey, loves to ski, enjoys being taller than her father and is thrilled that she has had the chance to work with such an amazing cast!

Barbara Kessell

Barbara Kessell has performed and/or assistant directed with the Town Players and Stapleton Theatre Company since 2004 and has over 20 years’ experience teaching music to children ages 5- 12. She is thrilled to be returning to the STC stage as a Charity Lady in this year’s production of “A Christmas Carol.” Previous roles include Blind Old Hag and Mrs. Fezziwig. Barbara has also performed with the Novato Theater Company in “The Sisters Rosensweig” and “Urinetown, the musical.” She also performs as part of a ‘70s Pop Duo for Bread & Roses.

Jessie’s love for the stage started three years ago at Stapleton School of the Performing Arts. This will be her eight production overall and third all age show. Jessie loves the theater community, her friends and her dog Luna. She is an avid reader and a Ravenclaw (Harry Potter fan).

Leo Marte
POULTERER
Leo Marte is a natural-born actor. Starting as early as 5 years old, he would captivate family and friends by imitating his favorite characters from shows and movies with uncanny detail. He has performed in nine musicals, starting with Fiddler on the Roof in 6th grade to his last production with Stapleton, in which he played Mr. Green in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. He loves eccentric characters and has often been fondly called The Improv King. Leo is delighted to be performing once again with his Stapleton friends as The Poulterer.

Kelsey Magaña Levintow
SALLY
Kelsey Magaña Levintow (Sally) is proud to reprise her role in Stapleton’s A Christmas Carol! She dedicates her performance to Olive and those who were lost from the Archie Williams High School Community. Kelsey is a local performer and educator in the San Francisco Unified School District. In collaboration with the University of San Francisco, Kelsey has created short films and hosted community outreach with Performing Arts students. She last performed in North Bay Theatrics’ production of Mary Poppins (Winifred Banks). Favorite roles include Maggie in A Chorus Line (NTC), Babe Williams in Pajama Game (MMTC), and Marian Paroo in The Music Man (Stapleton). Kelsey has sung with the Marin Symphony Chorus and continues studying vocal performance. She is a proud new Mamma and eternally thankful for her friends, family, and community theater crew for supporting her dreams always! Now everyone sing fa la la la rum pum pum pum hip hip hurrah! Let’s have a jolly good time tonight!

Amy Dietz
ENSEMBLE
Amy Dietz’ mother says she was singing before she could talk. Since then, Amy has delighted in being on the stage. Her latter years and debatable maturity have led her to do so in (mainly) socially acceptable spaces. She’s thrilled that Stapleton is allowing her to play on their stage and is incredibly grateful for the support of the cast and crew. Favorite past shows include Pride and Prejudice (RVP), Romeo and Juliet (Curtain Theater), JC Superstar (Theater At Large), Sweeney Todd (NTC), Rent (MMTC), and Hair: In Concert (Mountain Play). For Dad, always.

Aurora "Rory" DeWitt
ENSEMBLE
Aurora DeWitt is delighted to perform in her first theatre production with Stapleton. Prior to this, Aurora enjoyed her role as Teen Fiona in the YES Foundation’s 2025 production of Shrek the Musical and having a solo verse during “Memory” in the 2024 production of Cats. Before that she lit up the stage as Ariel in 23 Elephant’s production of A Little Mermaid. Also with 23 Elephants, Aurora performed in the Jungle Book, Cats, and Cinderella. She is looking forward to auditioning for the upcoming YES Foundation production of Matilda with her classmates at Brookside Elementary. When she is not singing to hit musicals in her room, she is taking care of her beloved dog ‘Choo-Choo’ or new pal ‘Disco’ the hamster. She is also a fierce defender on the soccer field and a meticulous catcher on the softball field. Lastly, she can bake a decadent chocolate brownie with fondant decorations to rival even the Trunchbull’s luxurious chocolate cake.

Chris Corr-Barberis
ENSEMBLE
This is Chris's fourth Stapleton production, having previously appeared in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Oklahoma!, and Suessical the Musical. He lives in San Anselmo, where he is a resident of the Cedars Community and an artist at their Fine Art Studio. Eric Belmont
ENSEMBLE
Eric grew up in Berkeley, where he developed an early interest in musical theater and trained with Contra Costa Civic Theater (CCCT). He performed in CCCT youth theater productions of The Aristocats, Jungle Book and Aladdin. He later honed his vocal skills by singing with the Albany High School Choir for three years and later joined East Bay Harmony, an a capella chorus. Recently, Eric has performed with Stapleton Theater in their all-ages productions of Oklahoma! and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

Jere Torkelsen
ENSEMBLE
JERE TORKELSEN recently retired from the San Francisco Opera chorus after 38 years. During his tenure he has performed many roles including, Gen. Rawlins in Philip Glasses Appomattox, Melisso in Handel’s Alcina, The Imperial Commissioner in Madame Butterfly, among others. He has also appeared with other opera companies as The Mother (Kurt Weill’s Seven Deadly Sins), Germont (La Traviata), Sharpless (Madame Butterfly), Count Almavia (The Marriage of Figaro), and the Four Villains in The Tales of Hoffmann. His musical theater performances include Herr Schultz in Cabaret, Charlemagne in Pippin, Tony in The Most Happy Fella and Fred in Kiss Me, Kate. He sang Firman and Bouquet in Weber’s The Phantom of the Opera while on the national tour.

Esmé Lahn

Esmé is a 6th grader from Mill Valley. She loves spending time with her two sisters and her dog, Babe. This is her second Stapleton musical, and she is excited to be back on stage! Esmé would like to thank Katie, Bella, and Jenny for their support and guidance.

Jessica DeWitt
ENSEMBLE
Jessica DeWitt is grateful for the opportunity to dust off her theatre prowess, which laid dormant since college. At Southern Methodist University, where she majored in Cinema Television, Jessica directed and performed in several theatre productions. These productions were through a student organization dedicated to providing arts opportunities to non-theatre majors. Prior to college, Jessica participated in all her high school productions, bringing a goofiness to the character of ‘Helena’ in a Midsommer Night’s Dream. However, her fondest memory is of directing her fellow classmates in a production of the one-act play Savage/Love. Presently, Jessica channels her love of theatre and advocacy by telling her client’s stories as a personal injury attorney at the Martino & Rossi Law Firm.

John Graham Cowperthwaite
ENSEMBLE
John Cowperthwaite is excited to be part of the ensemble in A Christmas Carol. Recently retired, he enjoyed performing arts at Drake High School (now Archie Williams High School) and later performed in college theatre productions. He is currently singing with the San Anselmo First Presbyterian Church/ Community Singers and has appeared in a couple one-act plays. This production is especially meaningful to him because his daughter danced with Stapleton as a child. He’s delighted to be carrying on the tradition with this remarkable performing arts institution that we are so lucky to have in our community.

Dr. Magdalena H. Gross is a painter, teacher, and mother learning to sing and act for the first time. Being in a Christmas Carol is a family adventure.

Max Smith

Max Gross Smith is excited to be acting and singing alongside his mom and sister. He began performing at the School of Rock when he was 8, in Cabaret at his elementary school at 9, and A Christmas Carol is the biggest show he has ever been in. Thank you for coming!

Michele Blazek

Michele Blazek is delighted to return to the Marin stage in the ensemble of Stapleton’s Production of A Christmas Carol. Recently seen as Missy Hart in Novato Theater Company’s production of 9 to 5, Michele's past favorite roles include Mrs. Brill (Mary Poppins), Marian Paroo (The Music Man), Mrs. McAfee (Bye, Bye Birdie), Sister Margaretta (Sound of Music), and Giuseppe (The Most Happy Fella). When Michele is not performing, you might find her volunteering back stage in various capacities. Michele is an environmental health & safety/sustainability leader in health care, telecommunications, and other industries.

Mila Gross Smith is thrilled to be with family and has been studying and preparing for the children's chorus all fall. She loves musical theater so much and can't wait to be in more shows as she grows up.

Sandra Radovic

Sandra is thrilled to be part of Stapleton's production of A Christmas Carol. Having commenced theatre with her daughter 12 years ago, she continues to embrace the challenge and joy of being a part of this community and support system. It continues to be an integral part of her growth and artistic expression. When she’s not on stage, Sandra pursues her passion for the healing arts, enjoys time with her daughter and loved ones, curls up with a foreign film or a thrilling novel, and loves dancing to jam bands and live music. She has a particular fascination with tales of vampires, witches, and werewolves. Sandra is thrilled to share in the laughter, enchantment, and timeless charm of this beloved story.
