Classic Summer Intensive 2018 – August 6 through August 17

This year we are going back to the basics of ballet for our summer intensive. Our rigorous all-day program will focus on the classical technique; pointe work; variations; and partnering. Daily master classes taught by guest artists will expose the dancer to a variety of teaching styles. Contemporary ballet and stretch and strength classes will round out the program.

Guest artist Steve Caras will join us for the entire workshop, as will new faculty member Casey Lee Thorne.

A special focus on variations from Nutcracker and Swan Lake will prepare dancers for the productions we will mount in the 2018/19 school year.
