Stapleton Theatre Company
2016/2017 Season Announcement

The Stapleton Theatre Company’s annual production of “A Christmas Carol” will take a break in 2016. It will return in 2017 reimagined with new staging and a new venue!

We are excited to announce that the 2017 season will begin with "Urinetown." "Urinetown" is a hilarious musical satire of the legal system, capitalism, social irresponsibility, populism, bureaucracy, corporate mismanagement, municipal politics and musical theatre itself!

Director: Bruce Vieira
Musical Director: Judy Hofheimer Wiesen

Auditions will be held in September.
Please note, this is a teen/adult (ages 13+), single-cast, musical.
Performances will be in January at the San Anselmo Playhouse.

The Spring show, for ages 7+, will be commemorating Bruce Vieira’s 10th anniversary with STC. As such, we will be presenting Meredith Willson’s “The Music Man,” the first show Bruce directed with our company.
We are excited about these changes and look forward to seeing you at Urinetown auditions in September!!
