Vassilii comes to the Stapleton School with thirty years
of experience performing, choreographing, and producing a
vast array of dance works. He performed as a principal dancer
for the prestigious Moldavian Dance Ensemble and was a leading
dancer with the Moiseyev Dance Ensemble. Vassilii has performed
with companies across the globe and in a number of dance
disciplines, and he has been a guest choreographer for a
variety of major Soviet companies. Vassilii's roots
in the Eastern European Character style of dance bring a
dynamic and visually dazzling element to his ballet instruction
and choreography. He teaches the Youth Company and choreographs
extensively for the Stapleton School's annual productions
and workshops, incorporating an international flavor into
his pieces.
