Began his training in his home town of Mesa, Arizona, continuing on to School of American Ballet, San Francisco Ballet School, Cleveland Ballet School, Royal Danish Ballet School workshops and Arizona State University, all on full scholarships. Charles is currently a guest artist, teacher, and ballet master throughout the country. He has been a principal dancer with Sacramento Ballet (and ballet master), Smuin Ballet, Ballet West Arizona, and as a principal guest with the San Francisco Opera Ballet; dancing all the full-length ballets and various contemporary repertoire. He has taught on professional and school levels since 1989. He has been on faculty at Ballet San Jose/Silicon Valley Ballet School, Western Ballet, Marin Ballet, Zohar School of dance, Loyola Marymount University, and throughout the entire bay area. Charles will be graduating in December 2003 with his degree from St. Mary's College.
