The Stapleton Ballet’s original annual production offers a magical way to begin the holiday season. This production vividly brings to life the timeless tale of Clara and her wondrous adventures with the Nutcracker prince. From the lavish, authentic Victorian holiday party scene, through the battle of the mice and soldiers, and on to the land of the Sugar Plum Fairy, this production will set young imaginations soaring. Audiences of all ages will be dazzled by inspired dancing, stunning imagery, and beautifully crafted sets and costumes. This engaging production flows seamlessly and is designed to engage young and old from start to finish. This original production features choreography by Virginia Stapleton and her faculty. The cast features over 150 talented and energetic dancers from the Stapleton School of the Performing Arts, as well as professional guest artists. The fun continues at the Sugar Plum parties following the 1 p.m. performances. Get your photo taken with a cast member, enjoy refreshments, win fabulous prizes and receive a special souvenir.
